    Roles & Responsibilities

    PRIMARY FUNCTION: To ensure that the Room Attendant, Houseman, and Public Area Attendant perform their duties according to set standards.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. To conduct daily briefings to Room Attendant, Houseman, Public Area Attendant, and Public Area Attendant.
    2. To conduct daily inspections of rooms
    3. To supervise Room Attendant, Houseman/ Housemaid, and Public Area Attendant.
    4. To check Room Attendants' pantries/trolleys/cleaning equipment
    5. To assign rooms for cleaning.
    6. To print room status reports for the Room Attendant. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
    7. To check the Room Attendant report against the room status in the computer system.
    8. To make maintenance reports on repairs and defects of rooms and public areas.
    9. To issue master key cards, handphones, and pagers to the Room Attendant, Houseman/Housemaid, Public Area Attendant, and Linen Attendant.
    10. To handle and record Lost and Found.
    11. To establish control over rollaway beds, baby cots, and all loan items e.g. praying mats, etc.
    12. To handle telephone calls.
    13. To handle mini-bar consumption after room attendant's checking.
    14. To issue stock to Room Attendant and record the issues in the stock cards.
    15. Check F&B outlets and public areas.
    16. To assist in training, maintenance of grooming, and conduct standards of Housekeeping staff.
    17. To maintain effective communication within the Housekeeping Department.
    18. Any other suitable task as and when assigned by superior(s).
