Summary:

ONE Intervention Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced Special Needs Teacher to join our growing team. You'll have the unique opportunity to work directly under a qualified child psychologist, gaining valuable insights and expertise. In this role, you'll play a vital role in supporting children with developmental delays, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and activities tailored to each child's specific needs.
• Provide direct instruction to children with special needs, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Assess and evaluate children's progress and behaviours to monitor their development.
• Collaborate with parents and other professionals to develop and implement comprehensive intervention plans that address each child's unique challenges.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in special education and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) intervention strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field, such as Early Childhood Education or Special Needs Psychology.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching children with special needs, including those with ASD.
• Strong understanding of special education principles and practices, including TEACCH, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and other evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
• Passion for working with children with special needs and a commitment to their success.
