    Roles & Responsibilities

    Job Summary:

    The Assistant Manager/Manager at St Luke's Community Wound Centre & Academy in St Luke's Hospital is pivotal in assessing the industry landscape to forge new and strengthen existing strategic partnerships, managing the department's day-to-day operations and administrative processes. The candidate will manage and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on various projects and drive the implementation of multiple policies, risk mitigation controls and new initiatives.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    · Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the wound centre and academy.

    · Track and monitor the department's revenue vs expenditure to ensure proper resource allocation and sustainability.

    · Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the department. Implement initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce operational costs, and enhance overall performance.

    · Conference and Event Planning: Plan, organise, and execute conferences, workshops, seminars, and other educational events hosted by the centre and academy. Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, registration, and participant accommodations.

    · Support excellence award (Educator/Mentor) programme annually.

    · Manage resources effectively, including equipment, supplies, and budget allocation, to ensure optimal use and cost-effectiveness.

    · Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, vendors, and regulatory agencies. Communicate effectively to address inquiries, resolve issues, and foster positive relationships.

    · Manage automation and data management processes

    · Monitor the performance of the department's services based on feedback and performance standards.

    · Manage teams in staffing coverage and staff professional development.

    · Work with Marcomm to execute or curate necessary content for marketing strategy to promote Wound Centre & Academy.

    · Identify potential investors and partners and grant opportunities to support our services, research, or innovation.

    · Initiate networking and manage building and establishing sustainable and collaborative partnerships with external stakeholders. E.g., corporations, higher educational institutions, community partners, healthcare institutions, government agencies or research institutions

    Job Requirements:

    · A minimum Bachelor's degree in any field

    · Minimum of 5 years of experience in administration, with a focus on operations management.

    · Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

    · Proficient in MS Office applications, data management & analytical skills

    · Good organisation and coordination skills

    · Growth mindset with a passion for innovation

    · Able to support the main functions of the Wound Centre/Academy in three main areas: Education, Research and Innovation
