Job details:

Responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the preschool.
Provide leadership for setting overall goals for the school as a basis for curriculum objectives.
Develop a naturebased curriculum inspired by the Forest School philosophy.
Comply with ECDA licensing and SPARK requirements; and other regulatory bodies and to ensure active compliance.
Incharge of promoting and marketing programmes to attain the targeted enrolment numbers and brand awareness
Take charge in promoting and marketing of all Kowabunga programmes and events
Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate primary and supplemental staff and recommend personnel actions for programs and services
Maintain a loving, caring and safe environment for children, families, team members and all visitors
Develop the positive character and behaviour among children and assist their holistic development
Ensure that the programme continues to meet children's needs and follow the curriculum as necessary
Conduct class observation and provide feedback

REQUIREMENTS:

Possess a Degree in Early Childhood Education or its equivalent recognised by ECDA Possess Diploma in Preschool Education Leadership (DPE-L) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education
Leadership (DECCE-L)
Preferably Forest School Level 3 Practitioner or FSL Leader with level 3 certification
At least 3 years working experience in a preschool with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Proficient in Microsoft system.
Fun, committed and disciplined.
Able to form positive relationships with parents and stakeholders.
Able to multitask and lead a dynamic team of educators.
Loves nature and spending time outdoors.
Able to start immediately
