Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the full spectrum of financing functions.
  • Responsible for the preparation and implementation of financial budget reports, and monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports interpreting financial information to Directors while recommending further courses of action.
  • Prepare and ensure that submission of reports to the management is done on a timely basis.
  • Collaborate with other HODs to identify, measure, and manage organizational risks for improved performance.
  • Correspond with other HODs, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
  • Provide support to the Managing Director whenever required in the areas of finance.
  • Evaluate and ensure continual improvement in operational efficiency, cost effectiveness and internal controls.
  • Develop trends and projections for the firm's finances.
  • Review of quarterly GST Returns and annual tax filing.
  • Oversee the training and development of the Finance team to ensure each level of staff able to perform their tasks at an optimal level.
  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Assist in any ad hoc assignment.

Requirements:


  • A Degree in Accountancy (or equivalents)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with handson experience with fullspectrum finance activities
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with seniorlevel business partners
  • Prior working experience in an F&B industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, laws, and any other compliance requirements
  • Provide creative problem solving first by independently and proactively
  • Impeccable interpersonal skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Has dealt with highly sensitive issues and strictly confidential matters
  • Has a "can do" attitude to enthusiastically solve problems
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines
