Position:
Assistant Accountant (6 months)

  • Salary: $3,500 $4,100
  • Location: West
  • Working Hours / Days: 8.00am 6.00pm (Mon
  • Fri)

Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations based on stipulated timeline
  • Preparation of journals and to assist accountants & finance manager in timely closing of month end/year end accounts
  • Liaise with operations in preparation of operating expense accruals and other related schedules
  • Preparation of monthly management reports and schedules
  • Conduct balance sheet review and highlight risks to Finance Manager
  • Assist in supporting Finance Manager in external audit request
  • Perform month end closing for a standalone entity including preparation of management reports
  • Participate in annual stocktaking
  • Other adhoc duties that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:


  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy with 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Meticulous, organized and a good team player
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to handle high volume of work in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement on existing processes
