Newbridge is collaborating with a leading financial services company to identify a highly skilled Support Engineer (L2/L3) for the position of Senior EngineerPosition Overview:
The main responsibility of this role is to consolidate the company's hardware and software assets, and establish an organized inventory to achieve consolidation and cost reduction goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2/L3 support for the organization.
Serve as an administrator for active directory.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of IT hardware and software on systems.
Maintain an inventory of company assets.
Assist in monthly windows server patching.
Monitor daily backup operations.
Possess knowledge of disaster recovery and contribute to its implementation.
Maintain and update documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies regarding server patching.
Requirements:
Minimum of a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in IT support and server support/administration.
Proficiency and experience in the following areas:
Active directory management.
Virtualization using VMware (essential skill).
Experience in Nutanix (preferred).
Certification in MCSA or MCSE (preferred).
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Capability to provide support to users in a multi-office environment, both onsite and remotely.
