Role:

The Sales Manager (B2B) is responsible for managing existing key customer relationships, meeting sales targets and identifying new business opportunities.

The successful applicant will have strong business acumen and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and high pressure SME environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and nurture existing key customer accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, targeting potential clients within the B2B sector.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive insights, and customer needs, adapting sales approaches accordingly.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver customized solutions, provide exceptional customer service, and drive customer retention.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure new business deals.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to evaluate sales effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities to ensure a competitive edge.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales role within the B2B sector.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of the ice cream and/or snacks market, including trends, challenges, and customer needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics.
  • Highly motivated, resultsdriven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Google Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
