    Key Responsibilities:

    Assessment

    • Uncover the potential within each student by conducting thorough Intake Assessments that provide a deep understanding of their unique needs.
    • Identify their talents and abilities through Vocational Assessments, paving the way for future employment opportunities.
    • Ensure appropriate support and decision-making capacity through Mental Capacity Act Assessments.
    • Unlock the power of communication by conducting Communication Screenings and developing personalized intervention plans.
    • Advocate for students' needs by administering High Needs Grant Assessments, ensuring they receive the necessary support.

    Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)

    • Dive into the world of behavior assessment, utilizing your expertise to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and create Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) that address and transform challenging behaviors.
    • Collaborate closely with our talented multidisciplinary team to craft Individual Behavior Plans that foster positive behavior and skill development.
    • Empower teachers with the tools they need, coaching them on effective behavior plans and strategies to teach replacement skills.
    • Be the driving force behind student behavior management cases, providing critical follow-up and ensuring the well-being and safety of our students.
    • Rise to the occasion during crisis situations, attending to crisis hotlines and leading CPI teams to maintain a secure environment.

    Social Skills Development

    • Collaborate with our passionate team to design and implement social skills modules that encourage perspective-taking and empathy.
    • Create engaging and effective interventions that enrich social interactions and communication among our students.

    Training

    • Welcome new staff members into our family through informative New Teacher Induction sessions, where you will provide guidance and support.
    • Join our vibrant Professional Learning Communities (PLC), sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance the professional growth of our team members.

    Project Development

    • Innovate and shape the future of autism supports by actively participating in the development of intervention programs and services.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Embrace flexibility and adaptability as you contribute to the overall success of our organization by fulfilling any other duties assigned by the Principal and/or Management.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Your passion for making a positive impact is supported by a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis).
    • Highly desirable: Demonstrated experience working with individuals with autism and conducting assessments.
    • Expertise in Positive Behavior Support (PBS) principles and techniques.
    • Your outstanding interpersonal skills enable seamless collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allow you to effectively connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
    • Proficiency in relevant software and technology ensures seamless documentation and efficient data tracking.
