Group Risk Management (GRM) is an independent function responsible for ensuring that risk management practices at OCBC Bank are effective and comprehensive.
GRM builds and drives the Bank's businesses through an integrated risk management approach relying on strong risk analytics to support strategic business decision-making and to create a competitive edge for the Group.
Department Description
RPM comprises a range of functions primarily focused on credit portfolio management within OCBC Group
These include:
- Assess risk / opportunities in the context of risk appetite & macro conditions.
- Analyse portfolio performance. Identify trends & drivers, draw insights & develop recommendations.
- Manage risk measurement framework such as scorecards & rating models, RWA approach, risk data & systems infrastructure, policy & processes. These are used in underwriting, limits, early warning, capital & provision level assessments.
- Manage portfolio dashboards / reports to stakeholders.
We have a 12-month contract opportunity for an Analyst to work on initiatives in the following:
- Build, maintain and optimise database infrastructure to ingest and consume structured and unstructured data for credit risk analysis.
- Actively source, curate and transform data to enable and enrich credit risk analysis.
- Build dashboards that are easily customisable to support visualisation, monitoring and reporting for business needs.
- Design and implement process improvements to optimise data delivery and data quality assurance.
- Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Tertiary Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science or an equivalent information technology or dataintensive area. Advanced professional certification in big data processing frameworks would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in big data processing using the Hadoop ecosystem, Python, Spark, SQL, Linux/Unix environments, Git, CI/CD pipelines and MLOps.
- Experience in building procedures, ETL and automated job scheduling using workflow management tools such as Airflow, Kafka and DataStage.
- Knowledge of traditional structured database environments such as Teradata/Oracle, including FSLDM concepts and data warehouses.
- Handson skills in building dashboards using business intelligence tools such as QlikView or Tableau.
- Experience in banking, retail credit, or credit risk analytics and modelling would be an advantage.
