Description

You will involve in the pre & post-sales phase, supporting the SEA Sales Team, to design network system architecture fitting the needs of the customer and deliver customized solutions through maximizing the use of Phoenix Contact products, so as to achieve profitability and growth in market share.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To provide pre-sales engineering support to qualify opportunities beyond standard components needs by maximizing the deployment of bundled Phoenix Contact solutions, aiming at optimizing the total cost of ownership for the customer and/or providing unique customer benefits through combining the strength of the complete Phoenix Contact product range.
• Provide application-oriented technical support to the Sales Engineers and their customers. Analyse application requirements and derive an optimal solution that meets the requirements with competitive cost.
• Comprehensively support the customer from project planning till implementation, including technical training of assigned Phoenix Contact products towards the customers.
• Support marketing activities in seminars, trade shows, conferences and other marketing events, including designing and/or revamping of products static and active displays.
• Maintain a sound technical/application knowledge base on all products assigned.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve individual, team and departmental objectives, sharing knowledge and skills as appropriate.
• Demonstrate a positive and flexible approach to changing business priorities.

REQUIREMENT:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation equivalent
• CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experiences in industrial IT & Automation.
• Strong ability to build optimized architectures fitting the needs of the customer.
• Good overview and interested in Ethernet Networking, Cyber Security, Internet of Things, Gadgets and Technology.
• Strong networking and communications knowledge and troubleshooting skills will be an advantage.
• Good skills and command of English

• Aggressive, persistent, proactive and must be a good team player.
• Disciplined, hardworking and able to perform under pressure.
• Willing to travel within short notice e.g. Training, Trade shows, etc.
