    Description
    Consumer Branch Manager (Alor Setar N) Description
  • To effectively and efficiently manage the consumer sales team resources, for both Branch Banking, and Premier Banking Segments, to achieve the targets / standards for sales, high-level, consistent service quality and risk management.
  • Build business partners and reciprocal business relationships.
  • Manage the Sales Team Manager(s) of Consumer Banking, Branch Banking, and Premier Banking (if any) to achieve revenue targets for the branch.
  • To be responsible to implement the structured engagement process with Workplace Banking Acquisition Team for incremental acquisition of new companies and individual staff accounts for the branch.
  • To be responsible for the branch's overall relationship with the IQ Corporates for continued business growth opportunity (includes cross selling).
  • To ensure Team Manager / Deputy Team Manager plan, manage and oversee the running of iQ New / Existing corporates roadshows/events.
  • Drive Asset Under Management and Customer Information File growth for the branch by planning branch events/activities.
  • Promote usage of sales & service methodology to achieve targets.
  • Optimize customer interaction tools such as CRUs and campaign leads to deliver sales results.
  • Achieve consumer sales team compliance in all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Achieve a Pass in Internal & External Audit, Health Checks and Call Backs.
  • Build and develop staff competencies and leadership qualities.
  • In charge of recruitment and maintain low staff attrition.
  • Qualifications
  • Degree in banking and finance, accounting or business administration, with at least 5 years' experience in branch banking with exposure in sales, service & operational aspects.
  • Strong Leadership & Sales Management Skills.
  • Sound financial knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of banking law and practices.
