Description
1. Responsible in managing the facilities and assets within SBP premises and ensure a secure, safe and clean environment


These include:

a) Facilities Management
i. Investigate, check and analyse reported breakdowns & faults to determine their cause for the prevention of future occurrences.
ii. Coordinate and liaise with the relevant parties/vendors to ensure that the facilities within SBP are in good working condition.
iii. Schedule preventive maintenance, pest control, garden, security management and etc to ensure the smooth running of the Home.


b) Asset and Equipment Management:

i.

Ensure proper records of all assets within SBP are in place and updated throughout the life cycle of the assets.

ii. Ensure proper tracking system of the use of assets.
iii. Handle facilities and equipment maintenance and manage job requests such as installation, repair, maintenance and enhancement of equipment.


c) Safety Management:

i.

Ensure safety policies and SOPs are compiled by conducting regular inspections, corrective actions of repairment/replacement on any spoiled items to prevent any environmental hazards.

ii. Ensure safety standards following the Society's Safety, Health and Environment Management Guidelines.


  • Administrative and IT Support
a) Provide administrative support to ensure smooth running of the Home.
b) Work with the IT/system vendors in investigating, troubleshoot and resolve IT hardware/software-related issues.
c) Assist in the procurement and issuance of IT equipment / software / licenses.
e) Assist to maintain IT-related documents, including IT maintenance contracts and the organisation's IT policies and procedures.
f) Participate and support the organisation's digitalization and cybersecurity projects.
g) Provide induction for new joiners on IT related matters.


  • Covering Driver
a) Assist and support the Home to ferry children and staff members and despatch items as assigned when main driver is on leave.
b) Responsible in ensuring the safety of the children and passengers in the vehicle.

**4. Any other ad-hoc task as assigned


Requirements:


  • Diploma in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering,
Estate/Facilities Management, Computer Studies or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. Fresh graduates will also be considered.
  • Possess good understanding of facility management, M&E systems will be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Workplace Health & Safety Act
  • Knowledge of Risk management/ Fire Safety Act & Regulations will be advantageous
  • Good team player with a high level of initiative and independence
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
