To lead and deliver psychological services in Khoo Teak Puat Hospital and YH campus

Major Duties And Responsibilities

SPECIFIC (80%)

To provide individual and/or group psychotherapy for inpatients and outpatients (e.g. cognitive behaviour therapy, supportive therapy, relaxation therapy, stress management).
To provide psychometric assessments (e.g. IQ, neuropsychological, dementia).
To attend to complex inpatients or outpatients, as well as medicolegal and forensic cases.
To handle direct referrals from other medical professionals, police and the courts.
To assist in developing the hospital's peer support program for staff and/or corporate clients and deliver talks and workshops on stress management and mental health.
To lead and provide supervision to Masters in Clinical Psychology students and junior psychologists.

GENERAL (20%)

Involvement in support groups (e.g. weight management support group) and/or provide input for relevant hospital programmes.
To conduct or be involved in research independently or in collaboration with other specialists.
To undertake any special duties as assigned by CEO, CMB, COO, HOD and supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Masters in Clinical Psychology with at least 510 years of relevant working experience
Preferably holding or eligible for a valid registration, license or practising certificate with an established or recognised psychological professional body such as APA, APS or BPS.
