Description
The Logistics Associate will be part of the Logistic and Warehouse team residing in the manufacturing plant.

This position will be responsible to manage and control raw materials, semi-processed finished goods, operating supplies, and consumables from point of receiving to storage, for internal and external fulfilments of the manufacturing plant.

**Job Description

Logistics and Warehouse - Planning

  • Plan and assign equipment and resources to execute inbound receiving, interplant transfers and outbound issuing activities, per defined schedule cutoff and in conformance to SOP/WI.
  • Review and define logistics systems and procedures to meet operation requirements effectively and efficiently
(information/communication systems, documentation of procedures, storage and warehousing facilities, material handling system).

  • Evaluate suppliers' and contractors' performance (MHE, packaging consumables, waste management, etc) based on transparent service and supply consistency criteria.
  • Embed lean and safety culture into operational practices, to lead logistics Kaizen initiatives that serve the Suntory Monozukuri Values.

Logistics and Warehouse - Execution

  • Verify raw material received against factory specifications (SKU, Qty, Lot, PO and COA, etc.) during receiving of goods on Invoice. Verify the documentation of received materials from suppliers are in correct order (Invoice, PO, COA, Delivery Note, Packing List, Permit, etc).
  • Issue Pick List for picking from SAP following FIFO or FEFO system.
  • Verify raw material or consumables/operating supplies to Production, in accordance to defined SOP/WI and planned schedule.
  • Verify the product picked against picklist specifications (SKU, Qty, Lot, DO/DN and COA, etc.) during packing/palletising of goods. Verify the shipping documentation of issued products are in correct order before release (Invoice, COA, Delivery Note, Packing List, Permit, etc).
  • Input receivable invoice or delivery note into SAP system to make or update the amount of inventory.
  • Provide quality status for quality inspection after receiving materials from suppliers.
  • Manage and control indirect materials, operating supplies (such as glove, hair cover) to issue to respective department (Production, Engineering, Quality), following SLA agreement with required documentation per company policy.
  • Issue Purchasing Requisition in SAP for warehouse based on requirement and budget control.
  • Control and manage factory waste (such as wooden pallets, plastic drums), either through return to suppliers or waste disposal with removal of any label or information.

Logistics and Warehouse - Execution

  • Forklift movement of inventory from suppliers' trucks, and containers unloading to Warehouse staging area (incl. empty pallets) for inbound shipments.
  • Conduct general visual inspection of received items, tally receipts SKU, quantity, in accordance to packing list/delivery note specifications.
  • Perform goods receipt of materials to warehouse location putaway, in accordance to defined SOP/WI.
  • Perform goods pick for internal transfer and distribution, in accordance to defined SOP/WI.
  • MHE movement of inventory to/from Warehouse storage locations and Production line or staging area (incl. empty pallets).
  • Perform goods pick based on picklist specifications, and pack ready for despatch in good conditions, in accordance to SOP/WI.
  • Update weight and dimensions for packing list creation.
  • MHE movement from Warehouse to trucks, and containers loading for outbound shipments.
  • Receive and issue HOLD / REWORK WIP from the production line.
  • Transfer defect products or waste from Production to the specific area where they are staged to be destroyed.
  • Pallet Management transferring materials from incoming wooden pallet to inhouse plastic pallets for storage. Store the wooden pallets at the designated location.

Logistic and Warehouse - Inventory Management

  • Ensure accuracy of physical count 100% for stock items by conducting daily cycle count and month end physical count.
  • Ensure proper physical and systems storage and staging segregation of materials/products in their designated zones (product class).
  • Monitor aging of direct materials or indirect materials base on IRS policy in surplus, scrap, obsolete items and returned goods in coordination with Finance and/or QC.
  • Provide timely reports to Management and accurate feedback on inventory accuracy. (Stock card control, weekly cycle count and Physical Month end).
  • Check and monitor the accuracy of nonSAP materials such as materials trials.
  • Perform daily cyclecounting and month end physical count.
  • Perform physical putaway by segregation of materials/products in their designated zones (product class).

Logistic and Warehouse - Cross-Function Support

  • Coordinate with relevant departments and Purchasing, if there is a problem with shipment which is not as per schedule, or invoices from vendor in the wrong document.
