    Roles & Responsibilities

    **Roles & Responsibilities:**

    As a Construction Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

    Assisting the Project Manager/Site Manager to ensure site activities align with specifications, budget, and time schedules.

    Supervising and coordinating day-to-day site works, safety, and quality control.

    Monitoring and coordinating site works, materials, plant, and equipment with supervisors.

    Collaborating with subcontractors, MainCon, consultants, and clients for drawing revisions and construction adjustments.

    Studying tender/construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.

    Ensuring structural and architectural work aligns with drawings.

    Planning, programming, and monitoring construction works progress.

    Identifying and mitigating foreseeable risks and minimizing environmental impact.

    Carrying out short-term planning to meet site progress and participating in meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

    Managing and ensuring timely completion of construction/civil works.

    Performing daily site supervision, coordination, and quality assurance.

    Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy and raising technical queries to resolve discrepancies.

    Conducting site inspections and attending meetings on work progression.

    Leading a team of site crew and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

    Collaborating with clients on project work schedules and activities.

    Implementing cost control measures, understanding geotechnical aspects, and mitigating project risks.

    Ensuring timely submission of project documentation and compliance with QA/QC standards.

    Liaising between clients, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

    Performing financial projections and submitting accurate Project Finance Reports.

    Supervising projects onsite to ensure adherence to safety regulations, work schedule, and quality.

    Resolving technical and engineering problems, providing technical advice, and suggesting improvements.

    Reading and understanding construction drawings and ensuring all project documentation is submitted.

    **Job Requirements:**

    To be successful in this role, you should have:

    A Professional Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.

    At least 1 year of relevant working experience in ground improvement.

    Valid Supervise Construction Work for WSH certificate (preferable).

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Ms Project, AutoCAD.

    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline recognized by PEB or BCA.

    Certificates or licenses related to construction are an added advantage.

    Knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D drawings, and Revit software.

    Ability to read and understand construction drawings from all trades.

    Project management skills, logical and critical thinking abilities.

    Leadership and organizational skills.

    Willingness to learn, adaptability, and ability to multitask.

    Great communication and interpersonal skills.
