Quality Engineer (Tester)

$5,000-$6,600

Job Description:

As a Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans that align with project requirements and

security standards.

Create, enhance, and manage an automated test framework and test environments to streamline the

testing process.

Conduct thorough testing of new features, identifying and documenting any defects or issues

encountered.

Perform a variety of tests, including manual, functional, performance, exploratory, and user acceptance

tests (UAT).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
Advocate the adoption of relevant and up-to-date technologies, practices, and tools within Agile software

projects.

Contribute actively to technical discussions and solutioning sessions, offering valuable insights and

suggestions.

Conduct code reviews and promote the implementation of best practices across the development team.

Skills Requirements:

A degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.

2. 3-5 years of professional experience in software quality testing and automation.

Strong understanding of testing techniques, including test-driven development (TDD), continuous

integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD).

Proficiency in working with open source automated testing frameworks, preferably Cypress, and open

source performance testing tools such as k6.

Experience working in Agile development teams, utilizing methodologies like Scrum.
Demonstrates high expectations of oneself.
Enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and mentoring fellow developers.
Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-driven and capable of working independently.
