Develop rolling demand forecast:

Business partnership and life cycle management
Our client is a global medical technology organisation with a regional office based in Singapore.

In this exciting role reporting to the Regional Demand Planning Manager, you will be accountable for producing the Unconstrained Rolling Demand forecast and will actively participate in the Regional S&OP process.

You will also work closely with the local Inventory and Supply Planners in addition to other key stakeholders across functions.


Responsibilities:


  • Collect, collate market and customer intelligence, and make it available to everybody involved in the forecasting process.
  • Analyze sales trends and identify the key drivers of sales of key products and product groups.
  • Ensure that all documentation for the Unconstrained Demand forecasting processes and systems are uptodate and complies with company standards
  • Gather, analyze and validate all data used in preparing statistical forecasts.
  • Prepare statistical forecasts for use in the Unconstrained Demand forecasting process.
  • Sensecheck statistical forecasts and highlight any unexpected trends or predictions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Support the tender management process in collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Prepare and support the demand meeting and actively participate in the Regional S&OP process.
  • Work with the BU to support life cycle management
  • Assisting the forecast by supporting in creating an unconstrained demand plan.
  • Giving guidance to local planners
  • Being able to adjust communication with local practices
  • Close collaboration with the local Inventory and Supply Planners.
  • Work with the Local and Regional BU on increasing forecast accuracy.
  • Facilitate teams and group sessions as needed. Assist with Local Planning team effectiveness initiatives.

Requirements:

Degree qualified, you will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain. You are familiar with Microsoft Office and are willing to work with other softwares (SAP, PowerBI, Planning tool). You have high computer literacy, with prior database experience preferred. You are a team player who is able to make decisions independently.

You understand the financial impact of forecasting and related decisions and possess excellent working communication skills (both written and spoken).
