JOB DESCRIPTION
The role of Manager Specialized Equipment and Repairs (Manager SER) within the Technical Department is responsible for monitoring, maintenance planning and providing advise on

specialized equipment o/b the fleet.

Specialized equipment includes, amongst other equipment: OWS, BWTS, EGCS & Cranes.

The Manager SER leads a team of on-site Superintendents with a diverse set of technical skills.

The team has the responsibility to support Fleet Manager and Technical Superintendents in (planned) maintenance and repairs of the assigned specialized equipment.


In addition, the Manager SER is in charge of assigning and arranging of attendance of incidental repairs by one or more on-site superintendents and/or third party repair team.


The manager SER will keep the Fleet Manager and Superintendents up-to-date on the detailed technical condition of all assigned specialized equipment and provides support and advise, with or without being asked, on upcoming repairs and required spares.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be an ambassador for the company's Vision, Mission, and Values, as well as for any of the company's initiatives to improve the crew wellness and company performance.
  • Support the fleet team (Technical Superintendents, Purchasing, Technical coordinators, Crew) in maintenance and daily technical operations of SE (Specialized equipment).
  • Lead a team of traveling superintendents in maintenance and performance monitoring and onsite repair support.
  • Responsible for maintenance follow up, planning and monitoring of specialized equipment.
  • Provide consultancy on crew training design on specialized equipment.
  • Keep the Technical Superintendents and Fleet Manager up to date on overall performance, maintenance and spares RoB for full fleet.
  • Ensure fleet management system is kept up to date in terms of PMS and spares inventory.
  • Support and advise fleet team in any SE related matter.
  • Design and execute SE maintenance strategy.
