Job Description & Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act
Ensure that the civil & structural and M&E works are constructed in accordance with drawings and specifications and the Building Control Act and Regulations;
Monitor and report on the progress of works;
Carry out inspection of civil and structural, geotechnical, M&E works prior to concreting or subsequent construction works;
Supervise concreting, pavement, drainage construction work
Carry out checks on compaction and curing of concrete
Carry out checks on striking of formwork, reprops and removal of props
Carry out checks on quality & erection of precast components
Check on structural steel works
Check and assess temporary works and ERSS by the contractors to ensure that the C&S, M&E and building works are safe and in compliance with all relevant regulations;
Carry out inspection on defects rectification works;
Carry out supervision and inspection of the works
Manage and supervise the Resident Technical Officers under his charge;
Attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings;
Attend QAQC meetings, monitor and ensure quality on all works are being carried out.

Requirements:

The RE-C&S shall have minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience as a civil engineer, of which at least five (5) years shall be in supervision of works similar in nature to Core & Shell works, i.e. major construction works involving diaphragm wall construction, deep excavation, cutandcover tunnels, drainage, pavement, taxiways and runways;
The RE-C&S shall possess a the Civil & Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore;
The RE-C&S shall lead C&S and/or geotechnical site staff to monitor, supervise and inspect works.

Salary Range:

- $7,000 - $7,500
