    Roles & Responsibilities

    Sales Manager

    • Creating and updating the wine list in coordination with chefs and the Food and Beverage Manager/Sales Manager
    • Recommending food and wine pairings
    • Advising guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices
    • Create and update the wine list.
    • Inform guests about different varieties of wines and prices
    • Ensure wines are served at the right temperature and within the proper glassware
    • Store open bottles properly to maintain the strong taste
    • Manage wine cellar and ensure it's fully-stocked
    • Train wait staff on available wines
    • Organize wine tasting days or "wine of the month" events, wine dinners /promoting sales
    • Comply with all health and safety regulations

    Skills Requirement:

    • International wine knowledge and relevant certification
    • Minimum 3 years of wine sales experience in the Singapore Market
    • WSET Level 3/4 preferred
    • Training/Teaching experience in the restaurant trade
    • Sommelier experience in well-respected establishments
    • Excellent administrative and communication skills
    • WSET accreditation and any equivalent wine/spirit/sake accreditation.
    • Certified specialist of wine is preferable.
