Job Summary
The IT Support ensures the efficient and reliable operation of the company's IT networks and systems.

He/she is responsible for coordinating the various activities within the Technology Group and making sure support and issues are tracked and addressed in a timely manner.

He/She serves as the first line of support for end-user requests, queries, concerns and complaints and for communicating IT activities that will impact the organization.


The IT Support shall receive knowledge transfer to support new systems and programs prior to their release in the production environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries, requests, concerns, issues and complaints and route to relevant technology groups as deemed appropriate.
  • Create and release advisories, communicate status of incidents and service requests and handle customer inquiries and issues effectively
  • Identify, manage, resolve, or when needed, escalate and coordinate issues/incidents with concerned IT Teams or Third-Party service providers in a timely manner, in accordance with the Service Level Agreements
  • Perform system maintenance, backup, restoration and disaster recovery procedures at defined intervals to prevent or mitigate the risks of unexpected failures.
  • Accurately process system(s) alarms and provide incident tracking, documentation and notification in accordance with established processes
  • Accurately record all processing exceptions and service disruptions in the incident tracking system
  • Review all open tickets and system monitoring alerts, performing followup with escalation contacts to obtain resolutions
  • Create and update the knowledge base; and generate reports to evaluate the efficacy of processes and controls in place
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:


  • Nitec/Diploma in Information Technology or any computerrelated field
  • At least 1 year experience in desktop support and IT Operations
  • Strong understanding of computer operating systems, hardware, software, networks, infrastructure and cloud platforms
  • Solid background in incident, service, change, problem and asset management
  • Experience in cloud platform monitoring tools (i.e. Cloudwatch) and software (i.e. Grafana)
  • Detailoriented with good communication skills
