• Shall identify, report and resolve infringements to the Restricted Activities, stipulated in the Rapid Transit Systems (Railway Protection, Restricted Activities) Regulations, which could pose danger to the railway structures and MRT/LRT operations

1. The movement or operation of any crane, whether fixed or mobile, hoists, ladder, drilling or piling equipment, excavator and any other mechanical equipment or vehicle.
2. The installation of boreholes, wells, sheet-piles, foundations, ground anchors and horizontal tiebacks.
3. The storing or placing, or causing or allowing storage or placement of, any goods, material or thing or any solid, liquid or gaseous matter or substance; in particularly parking of petrol or diesel driven vehicles and storage of flammable and combustible material within the First Reserve.
4. The digging or excavation of trenches or pits, the carrying out of earthworks and back filling, or the shifting or pushing of earth or soil from one area to another, whether or not such activities are carried out manually or by mechanical means.
5. The dredging of seabed or riverbed and the anchoring of vessels with displacement (laden) weight of more than 20 tonnes.
6. The erection of sheds, shelters, tents, scaffolding, maintenance towers, ladders, hoardings and other similar temporary structures for the purpose of trade fairs, fun fairs, exhibitions, entertainment, night markets, religious functions or ceremonies.
7. The planting of trees with full-grown height extending above the parapet or wing wall of the railway and tree branches encroaching within 3 metres from the edger of viaduct.
8. The use of explosive materials for the purpose of blasting, demolition or removal of rocks.
9. The construction of an underground passageway designed for use as a street or railway, to serve as a conduit for utilities, or to provide access for people, vehicles or equipment to an underground working site.

• Inspectors to conduct four RPP cycles every week along designated train route.
• Identify, report and track infringement of Restricted Activities in the RPP Application.
• Monitor and facilitate closure of infringement in a timely manner with identified custodians.

Requirement:

• Possess at least a NITEC certification.
• Physically and medically fit to walk or cycle over distances more than 20 km under various weather conditions.
• Able to articulate the compliance requirements of Restricted Activities, as stipulated in the LTA-DBC's Guide – Carrying out Restricted Activities within the Railway Protection and Safety Zones.
• Able to communicate verbally in English, to explain the infringement and requirement of compliance to resolve infringement with respective custodians
