Job Location:SingaporeWe are currently assisting our client, a global technology and engineering group, look for a Database Administrator (DBA).


Responsibilities:


  • Manage, monitor and maintain databases
  • Maintain database backup and recovery
  • Provide solution related to database design and SQL writing to Application Developers
  • Implement change requests related to development in database such as table design, triggers, and stored procedures
  • Develop and deploy data patch SQL scripts
  • Provide solution for SQL query tuning
  • Perform installation, upgrade and migration of databases
  • Perform regular database patching and hardening

Requirements:


  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle database and MS SQL Server database:

  • Good understanding and experience in database maintenance, troubleshooting and performance tuning
  • Familiar with SQL script language

Good understanding of Oracle RAC, SQL Server HA solution:

  • Good problem-solving skills and team player
  • Experience with MySQL is a plus
