Requirements:

Provide assistance to the Head of Departments to develop and implement stragetic plans may include developing short and longterm plans for BCAPD APAC to ensure its growth and sustainability.
Managing and assessing risks that could impact the bank's operations such as identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies and monitory the effectivess of these strategies.
Managing regulatory compliance and ensuring the countries in APAC comply with all relevant local regulations, laws and Head Office guidelines.
Ensuring financial stability which involves developing and managing budget allocations to countries and headcount management for BCAPD APAC within stipulated gudielines.
Leading and managing teams across the various groups by ensuring the members are aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives fostering a culture of continous improvement, collaboration and teamwork.
Supporting Head of Departments on people management within BCAPD APAC such as talent mobility to groom younger generation leaders and driving performance management.
Managing effective communications with Head Office, Countries Heads and GMs and Group Heads within BCAPD, Business & Control Functions Heads and relevant authorities whenever necessary.

Requirements:

At least bachelor's degree in relevant field such as business administration or banking and finance.
Relevant experience in areas of strategic planning, risk management, compliance or operations management (including overseas operations), budget management and internal controls managment will be advantageous.
Strong and effective communication skills are essential to manage stakeholders relationships.
Possess a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance are adhered.
Ability to think strategically and develop longterm plans and goals.
Strong anaytics skills in assessing risks and opportunties to make informed decisions.
Proficiency in Japanese language is preferred as this role needs to provide regular reports to liaise with Head Office.
