Preparation of a one-off reconciliation statement for balance sheet items and propose adjustment entries where necessary to clear the outstanding reconciling items in system Preparation of the monthly reconciliation statement for the past months Propose improvements in the reconciliation process to eliminate inefficiencies for future reconciliations

Salary :
$4, S$6,000.00

Duration : 11 months

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday (8.30 am - 6.00pm), Friday : 8.30am to 6.00pm)

Working location :
Mapletree Business Park (Nearest MRT station: Labrador)

Responsibilities:

Preparation of a oneoff reconciliation statement for balance sheet items and propose adjustment entries where necessary to clear the outstanding reconciling items in system
Preparation of the monthly reconciliation statement for the past months
Propose improvements in the reconciliation process to eliminate inefficiencies for future reconciliations
Review the monthly customer billings, vendor payments and interdepartment journals postings to reduce the errors or discrepancies
Support the audits conducted by both Internal Audit and External Audit
Support the management action plans arising from the Internal and External Audit
Work closely with division users on the upstream process to reduce reconciliation errors
Implement automation on the existing reconciliation process Support any other ad hoc projects or tasks allocated

Job requirements:

Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or a relevant professional accounting qualification with at least 4 years of experience.
Prior experience in reconciliation of balance sheets items with high volume transactions
Possess good organization skills, supervisory skills, initiatives and detailed oriented
Strong team player, independent with excellent communication skills
Meticulous, resourceful, independent and proactive team player
