Proven track record in building business
Comfortable to be a sole contributor
Advantageous if incumbent possess technical experience and is familiar with the bunker industry

Job Description:

Grow the sales of the global business in line with the strategic growth plan of the business working to budget targets
Manage key accounts in designated geographical regions
Identify and develop new opportunities to expand the services offered by the company
Prepare quotations and tenders for new business opportunities.
Develop working relationships with decision makers for all managed accounts and potential accounts
Maintain uptodate knowledge of the company's service offerings as well as external market trends
Manage and maintain a pipeline; ensuring all sales information is current
Gain a greater understanding of our customers' business activities and the demands, constraints and factors affecting their business and markets
Gain information on competitive activity and market factors which could affect the company's overall business
Attend industry relevant conferences and exhibitions
Assist with marketing activities
Maintenance of I-Connect CRM database
Liaise with local service providers when required to ensure high standards of service delivery are maintained

Requirements:

Min Degree
At least 5 years of BD/sales experience in Oil & Gas, Bunker fuels or selling to shipowners/ship managers
Proven track record in building business

/growing sales

Excellent verbal and communication skills to liaise with internal and external customer's
Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Knowledge of Petroleum Products and their properties
Knowledge of Marine Industry operations and relevant legislation
Knowledge of all competitive testing companies
