Description

Responsibilities:

Assist in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants, including monitoring process parameters, conducting routine inspections, and performing equipment maintenance tasks.
Conduct laboratory analyses of wastewater samples to assess water quality, identify pollutants, and optimize treatment processes.
Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement process improvements to enhance treatment efficiency, reduce waste generation, and minimize environmental impact.
Perform process simulations and modeling to evaluate system performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and optimize chemical dosing rates.
Assist in the design and implementation of new treatment technologies or upgrades to existing systems to meet regulatory requirements and improve overall performance.
Participate in environmental compliance audits and inspections, providing documentation and support as needed to ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including operations, maintenance, and regulatory affairs, to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

Minimum Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
At least 2 years of relevant experience in the chemical industries
Able to perform shift duties Good communications & interpersonal skills
