Restaurant Manager is responsible of directing other employees through their daily routines and interact with customers to make sure that they have a satisfactory experience.
The Restaurant manager makes sure employees perform variety of tasks, from preparing the food, stocking supplies, serving, charging people for their food, handling cash, credit cards, and a cash register, cleaning tables and counters, resetting tables, greeting customers and answering questions.
JOB SUMMARY
- Recruit, plan and oversee scheduling for the restaurant's part timers
- Liaise with the management and staff of the restaurant to ensure provision of top quality customer services.
- provide a high standart service to customers
- Provide required training to other members of staff, both new recruits and existing staff member
- Listen to enquiries and complaints of customers
- Resolve any issue or disagreement among members of staff and between members of staff and customers
- Cover up for any member of staff that is unavoidably absent from his/her duty post.
- Manage and organize all cash and paperwork duties in the restaurant
- Ensure members of staff adapt to the sanitary standards of the organization
SPECIFICATIONS
- To have a degree in hospitality management
- More than 3 years' experience as Assistant Manager.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to withstand work pressure and customers' demand.
- Possess very good communication skills.
- Able to correspond in writing with guests and internal staff.
