Description

The trainee will learn the basics of customer service, including how to greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and ensure their satisfaction.

They will also be trained to handle different payment methods such as cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments, as well as process returns and exchanges.

The trainee will be expected to become familiar with their company's point-of-sale (POS) system and other relevant software or technology.

• Answering phone calls and text queries from customers: Effective communication is crucial when it comes to customer service. The trainee will learn how to answer phone calls and text messages professionally and efficiently, including identifying customer needs, answering questions, and providing helpful advice or recommendations. They will also be trained to manage customer complaints or concerns effectively and escalate issues to their manager if necessary.
• Booking in new appointments and optimizing appointment scheduling: The trainee will learn how to schedule appointments or reservations by understanding their company's scheduling process and any relevant tools or software. They will also be trained to communicate effectively with customers to book appointments that meet their needs. Additionally, they will be trained to optimize scheduling to minimize wait times and maximize efficiency, which can lead to increased customer satisfaction.
• Doing daily payment closing and other administrative tasks: Administrative tasks are an important part of many businesses, and the trainee will be trained to do them effectively. This may include tasks such as daily payment closing, which involves reconciling sales with cash and credit card payments. The trainee will also learn how to manage inventory, order supplies, or perform other tasks as needed. They will be expected to become familiar with their company's processes and any relevant software or tools, and aim to work quickly and accurately. Additionally, they will be encouraged to be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions to their manager.
