DESIGNATION :
Manager, Curriculum Development


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review, update and make relevant revisions to the existing curriculum to ensure that the curricula and instructional design remain current and relevant
  • Consult on curriculum development, material selection and alignment with MOE curriculum framework
  • Work closely with the schools to fieldtest and evaluate the implementation of the curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment across the schools to ensure quality teaching practices in MINDS
  • Support the implementation of the revised curriculum through staff training and development of quality teachinglearning resources
  • Conduct feedback reviews with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate effectiveness of the curriculum and instructional design, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Taking on administrative and project management duties and obligations responsibly as part of overall curriculum development and management.
  • Work with teachers on the domain curriculum to develop the IEPs and ITPs
  • Work with teachers to develop the learning units that translate the domain curriculums into assessments and learning activities
  • Plan, research and develop curriculum to support the review of curricula, improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning and explore strategies to overcome the challenges encountered by schools, students, and teachers
  • Work closely with the schools to support curricula innovation during the review and revision of the existing curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A master's or degree in education, curriculum, educational technology, educational psychology, instructional design, communication or related field;

OTHER INFORMATION

  • At least 5 years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in a similar educational setting
  • Experience in special needs, curriculum development and research
  • Background in teaching and/or professional development, knowledge of current curricula models, instructional design frameworks and assessment methods
