    Roles & Responsibilities

    In a nutshell

    This gig is all about ensuring all maintenance matters are dealt with efficiently, effectively, and safely (managing external contractors where needed to achieve necessary PPM procedures). You'll be monitoring and checking all maintenance areas and carry out maintenance procedures to a high standard ensuring all WH&S regulations are followed.

    A day in the life

    • Manage the snagging of the building in co-operation with contractors and the Club Manager.
    • Take complete ownership and support the Operations and Experience Manager in all Safety responsibilities.
    • Interface with all appointed sub-contractors so that they can complete their allocated work in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Be responsible for the management and administration of maintenance agreements.
    • Be responsible for the management of the building management system.
    • Liaise with the landlord and the landlord representatives with regard to all base build issues, responsibilities, and standards.
    • Ensure member information is handled in line with the privacy guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality to ensure it is not disclosed to any third party.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of Virgin Active's Brand Standards.
    • Interpret and deliver the Brand Standards on a daily basis.
    • Ensure all systems and procedures are followed in line with Safety working guidelines and procedures.
    • Record all maintenance duties and tasks via the maintenance checklists.
    • Keep all maintenance logbooks up to date.
    • Ensure cost control of the repairs and maintenance supplies budget.
    • Process purchase orders in line with guidelines.
    • Compile and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
