    Roles & Responsibilities

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join our team at Meiden Singapore. As a Production Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes and the continuous improvement of our production systems. You will be responsible for overseeing production activities, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring product quality while adhering to safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Plan and oversee production processes to meet production targets and quality standards.

    · Maximize production efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements.

    · Train and supervise production line workers to ensure adherence to procedures and safety protocols.

    · Design, test, and improve technology solutions to enhance production processes.

    · Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure products meet customer requirements.

    · Draft, design, and analyze power or telecommunication line designs.

    · Place bids on projects and manage project work as required.

    · Ensure proper operation and assembly of line products and packaging.

    · Maintain a recorded log of all products produced during shifts.

    · Perform repair and maintenance tasks on equipment such as boilers and vacuum ovens.

    · Uphold safety standards and promote a culture of 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).

    · Operate forklifts and cranes as needed.

    · Possess a valid driving license and safety coordinator certification.

    · Proficient in PLC programming, motor drivers, inverters, and AutoCAD.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    · Diploma/bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

    · Proven experience in a production engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

    · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    · Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

    · Proficiency in PLC programming, motor drivers, inverters, and AutoCAD.

    · Forklift and crane operation experience is a plus.
