We are partnering a well-established Private Bank to recruit for a Senior Credit professional. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable bank that is fully committed to its expansion in Asia.

We are seeking an experienced Credit professional with a track record of excellence and an ability for making astute credit decisions.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Credit Risk, this is a senior position within the Credit Approval team and requires expertise in bespoke lending.

Your main responsibility will be conducting credit risk analysis for counterparties in the Asia region. You will assess proposed transactions within the transaction structure, ensuring effective identification and mitigation of any structural risks. Your role involves delivering impactful credit analyses that adhere to regulatory and internal policy requirements, supporting well-informed decision-making.

Additionally, you will play a key role in the development, review, and implementation of credit policies throughout the entire credit cycle.

Collaborating with various departments, you will also ensure the timely reporting of new business information to senior management.

Requirement

You are a degree holder with at least 10 to 15 years of experience in private banking credit, ideally in credit risk policy or a credit approval capacity.

A solid understanding of private banking business, capital markets, and derivative products, Basel Capital rules and a comprehensive knowledge of the local regulatory landscape will be advantageous.

You will be dealing with various stakeholders, requiring you to possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and self-motivation, you should excel at prioritization, planning, and management on both strategic and operational levels.
