    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities
    • Position: Production Supervisor
    • Location: Tuas West
    • Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.45am - 5.45pm) + Alternate Saturday
    • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,500 + Performance Bonus
    • Duration: Permanent
    • Industry: E-waste recycling partner for sustainable technology lifecycle services - MNC

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Supervise Production Operators and manufacturing activities in Battery Recycling Plant pertaining to the production of products and/or manufacturing processes across production area such as Battery Feeding Area, Mechanical Plant Area
    • Chemical Plant Area and Mechanical Vapor Recompression Area
    • Conduct performance reviews, including resolving performance issues, discipline issue, time management and commitment of Production Operators
    • Establish the scheduling of production route sheet and team performance metrics, including monitoring output and adjusting schedules to ensure production targets are achieved
    • Lead Production CIP (continuous improvement program), partner with engineering on investigations and/or corrective actions, perform non-conformance investigations for review with engineering, assures documentation content is valid
    • Monitor raw material usage and availability required in daily production, including proposing resolutions to mediate shortages
    • Manage material and labor variances to meet established standards, including proposing resolutions to mediate shortfalls
    • Responsible for production machinery basic maintenance, maximise production output, machinery up time and monitor equipment performance with data recordings and production check list/route sheet/material transfer form/preventive maintenance records

    Requirements:

    • Ability to supervise employees in the manufacturing/production area
    • Able to exercise independent judgment with limited instruction and guidance
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels in the organization.
    • Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office
    • Able to comply with the company's safety policy at all times
