To ensure the continued funtionality of the shelter. To work with the team and maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness within the shelter.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in the maintenance of shelter functionality e.g handson tasks
  • Assist with enforcement of shelter rules and inspections
  • Mange disputes occurring between cotenants
  • Handle daytoday general enquiries on shelter admission and related shelter matters
  • Will be working with both males and females in the shelter
  • Support casework and counselling interventions under guidance of professional staff in the department
  • Execute intervention strategies identified by professional staff managing cases
  • Support administrative functions of group work processes in the company
  • Assist professional staff in the running of group work initiatives
  • Support social work interventions in community work practice, including administrative needs
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by HOD or Supervisor
Academic Qualifications & Experience

  • At least GCE "O" Level
  • Experience in doing shelter operational work

  • Proficient in oral and written communication, especially in English
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Able to interact with people of all age, race and gender; and to be firm when required
  • Committed and responsible
