    Roles & Responsibilities

    About Us:

    We are an investment holding group (major shareholder of Gotion Singapore Pte Ltd - RHQ of parent company Gotion High-Tech, Stock Code: rapidly establishing our presence in Singapore and the region. Specializing in renewable energy, we are expanding our portfolio investments, product services, and fund management activities.

    Position Overview:

    Your primary responsibilities include incorporating companies locally and regionally, preparing and analysing financial reports at both holding and group levels, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. You are also required to participate in corporate financial activities such as preparing financial analysis on potential investment and assisting the top management in negotiating project financing and equity investment from financial institutions and investors.

    Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing and leading a local finance team, setting up Company's financial processes, implementing finance policies, overseeing financial operations, and providing strategic guidance to support the company's growth objectives.

    The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can work independently without supervision, while delivering result and liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee holding company and group level accounting and consolidation, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements, group policies, and procedures.
    • Establish and lead a local finance team, including guiding and grooming team members to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to excel in their roles.
    • Conduct cash flow projections and assist with treasury functions (including cash management and currency exposure management), and banking relationships to optimize liquidity and mitigate financial risks.
    • Conduct financial analysis and modelling to evaluate investment opportunities, assess ROI, and support business expansion initiatives.
    • Prepare financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
    • Support corporate finance initiatives, including project feasibility analysis, project finance structuring, and documentation.
    • Assist in the annual audit process and the preparation of annual reports.
    • Prepare tax returns and filings, maintaining compliance with Singaporean regulations, coordinating other tax reporting requirements, and liaising with tax agents.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accountancy, or related field; MBA or ACCA/CPA is preferred.
    • Minium of 5 years in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, or related roles, with experience in team leadership and management.
    • Proficiency in handling full sets of accounts and consolidation.
    • Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software and databases preferred.
    • Strong team player with the ability to work independently under tight schedules.
