The Role Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into innovative solutions, where analysis of situations requires an indepth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Clear and concise articulation, presentation, and documentation of data solution.
  • Quickly adopt to new emerging technologies and tools, using that prepare a solution paper as how this appropriate to banks data management.
  • Able to understand Technology process and program management
  • Understanding and experience in data programs and projects

Business

  • Design and delivery experience in Retail banking domain with knowledge on deposit, credit cards and loans products and their reporting needs. Exposure to Wealth banking, portfolio management, Avaloq solutions.
  • Should be able to have domain data content exposure and business skills presales experience on technology on premises and on cloud build

  • Technology / Program management process

  • Stakeholder management / People management as he / she would be interacting with virtual program teams

Governance

  • Embed the Group's values and code of conduct in Data Engagement team to ensure adherence to the highest standards of ethics and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees form part of the culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all salient SCB governance frameworks where there are direct touchpoints with them or any subsequent downstream influence from team's aspect.
  • Ensure compliance with the highest standards of regulatory and business conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements. This includes compliance with local banking laws and antimoney laundering regulations and guidelines.

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

Key Stakeholders

  • Business & IT Stakeholder inclusive of Architects, Developers, Program Managers
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology preferably in Financial sector and Data Management.
  • Strong knowledge of Data and Data base solutions for specific segments of the bank.
  • Good experience in articulating things as per requirements and presenting them to Clevel stakeholders.
  • Strong Analytical, problem solving, motivational and interpersonal skills
  • Education: Grad / Engineering Computer Science
  • Training: Data Technologies
  • Languages: Business Communication
