Software Architect - Kubernetes Focus (Contract):

If you live and breathe Kubernetes and are excited at the prospect of designing, developing, and building brand-new enabling technology products for the Kubernetes ecosystem, we want to speak with you.

Role Description:

• Provide the organization with best practices when it comes to architecture and design of frameworks and distributed systems
• Research and share innovative solutions which can increase the value of Biqmind software products
• Complete POCs to validate potential technical solutions
• Write technical user stories to be completed which bring value to Biqmind software products
• Create and implement a technical development roadmap
• Work with product owners and/or solution architects to come up with suitable technical solutions to match requirements
• Architect solutions which are scalable, fault tolerant, distributed systems
• Architect and design scalable API infrastructures
• Conceptualize and present potential software solutions to clients
• Provide commercial and content teams with necessary technical documentation
• Conceptualize and present potential software solutions to clients

Requirements:

• Experienced working on large scale software projects
• Have been responsible for the architecture of at least 3 systems
• Expert level in design patterns, including microservices and strategies on service separation
• Expert level in Docker, Containers, and Kubernetes, including low level operators and details
• Required experience with Kubernetes operator framework
• Fluent in RDBMS, NoSQL and distributed databases and their design
• Can explain concepts and ideas to all levels clearly, concisely, and to the point
• Experience with security of software in a containerbased environment
• At least 8 years of experience across project and product development
• Expert level understanding of engineering development processes and working environments including Scrum, XP, Kanban, Lean
• Handson and current experience with full stack development
• Experience with coding various languages (C#,.NET, Java, JavaScript, GoLang required)
• Experience with architecting automated CI/CD for single and distributed platforms
