Search available products to find the best combination of quality, price, and delivery

  • Negotiate policies and contracts with various suppliers
  • Issuing purchase order to suppliers
  • Manage deliveries to confirm compliance with contracts
  • Monitor stock levels and verify purchase requisitions
  • Manage any damaged or defective goods from supplier
  • Interact with the suppliers on a day to day basis.
  • Review deliveries against the orders and track the status of any orders.
  • Keep detailed records and prepare and submit necessary reports
  • Maintain professional relationships with all key suppliers
  • Perform cost down exercise to achieve cost down target

Requirement

  • Min Diploma in Supply Chain management, Purchasing, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a purchasing / buyer role in Precision Engineering Industry will be an advantage
  • Experience on vendor sourcing practices will be an advantage
  • Handson experience with purchasing software (e.g. Navision)
  • Understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Analytical and mathematical capabilities in order to compare prices and quantities and consider vendor contract terms
