Description

Responsibilities

• Examine and perform troubleshooting & maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
• Repairing of electrical equipment and replacing malfunctioning components
• Assembling new electrical components and equipment
• Using hand tools for fixing wires and electrical appliances
• Repairing or replacing faulty equipment.
• Running tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations
• Writing up reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans
• Coordinate and supervise the in day-to-day activities
• Reviewing and ordering of supplies and parts
• Adhering to the safety protocols while performing daily operations
• Testing installed electrical equipment
• Addressing any customer complaints and service requests
• Reviewing and communicating approximate work completion timelines to clients
• Undertaking regular maintenance checks and inspections
• Providing time and material cost estimates before starting a job
• Keeping abreast of advancements in the field and attending workshops as required
• Other tasks assigned as needed

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering ( or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience working as an electrical technician
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment
• Proficient with manual and power tools
• Familiar with work requirements and safety regulations
