The Role:

We are seeking experienced C++ Software Engineers to join us as Senior Software Engineers. We highly value proactive problem-solvers with expertise in C++, individuals who take full ownership of their work, and display a strong commitment to continuous learning and development. Candidates proficient in resolving intricate issues, particularly those related to low latency or multi-threading, are greatly esteemed at Rapsodo.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position include:

Embrace new concepts and ideas, exhibit professional curiosity, and demonstrate determination to achieve success while being a dedicated problem solver.
Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, resilience, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Collaborate closely with Rapsodo's internal teams to ensure smooth integration of middleware solutions.
Manage and carry out middleware integration tasks across diverse technology platforms to facilitate the development and implementation of sports data analytics solutions.
Engage with a wide range of applications and technologies, contributing to the dynamic and stimulating nature of the role.
Offer Tier IV and higher support for any unresolved technical issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field of Computer Science.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, with proven track record in leading engineering teams through end-to-end product development projects.
Demonstrate proficiency in modern C++ and multithreading concepts, in addition to foundational knowledge in Linux and Python / Bash scripting.
Basic understanding of computer vision principles and solid fundamental background in OS / systems / networking.
Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to effectively troubleshoot the most challenging technical issues.
Show proactive initiative with a keen interest in learning and a hands-on approach.
Excellent teamwork abilities and aptitude for cross-functional collaboration.
A background in Team Sports would be an advantageous asset!
