Roles & Responsibilities
- We are looking for a Finance/Accounts intern with strong execution and organizational skills and are willing to go the extra mile. This position reports to the director and interfaces with internal stakeholders and Finance staff base in overseas.
- Recommends improvement actions by analyzing real financial data and supporting new system implementation
- Participate in automation and digitalisation initiatives to improve financial insights and reporting processes
- Build and maintain financial models to support financial projections
- Assist in preparation of key decisionmaking tools for management
- Assist and prepare any required tools in the management reporting or decision process, including ensuring accuracy of data and format for submission
- Provide accounting support including all month end closing process to ensure books are closed on time and accurate
- Prepare invoices, update accounting files, as and when required
- Ensure timely, accurate data entry, filing and recording of financial information
- Ad hoc finance projects
- Perform billing and administrative duties
- Liaise with suppliers and partners on payment matters
Requirements:
- Graduated/about to graduate in Business, Accountancy, or a related field
- Prior work experience with finance or accounts is a plus
- Commitment, ability to work independently, motivated and accurate
- Receptive to feedback and eager to learn
- Able to commit a minimum of 3 months, though 6 months preferred
