About Operations
Operation is a busy and dynamic business area, with lots of exciting opportunities to build and develop your career. Our business area comprises of a number of functions and Hubs working globally supporting the entire client journey.

We support processes from onboarding new clients, transaction processing, derivatives, daily oversight of the Funds Net Asset Value (NAV) and ensuring that we meet all our Client, Fund and regulatory obligations.


The programme
You will join Schroders as a permanent employee in Accounting Control department. You will also be enrolled into our Operations Academy program which runs for 2 years. The program aims to provide new analyst with the necessary training to kick start their career in Schroders.

During this time we will support your study for CISI Level - Investment Operations Certificate, learning on the job and gives you access to a wide range of soft skill training courses.


Note:
You will need to study for your CISI Level - Investment Operations Certificate outside of normal office hours.


About the team
Operations Innovation is a global team with members in Singapore, London and Indonesia.

Our mission is to deliver Real-World Solutions with Business Value using a wide array of intelligent automation and innovation solutions such as intelligent Optical Character Recognition (iOCR), Microsoft Power Suite and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

The team, deeply-embedded within Operations, has core members originating from the business and combines this strong foundation with process re-engineering/workflow optimization knowledge for 1 objective: To Deliver Positive Outcomes for Business Stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Basic understanding of SQL

Database Management:
Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and database triggers.

Basic understanding of Cloud Infrastructure:
understanding of different cloud technologies and able to navigate/communicate on cloud infra related requirements.

  • Basic understanding of Process Automation and Low-Code No-Code tools.

The knowledge, experience and skills we are looking for:

  • Demonstrates good communication, analytical skills, and works well within a team environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to deliver tight deadlines and prioritise conflicting requirements.
  • Keenness to innovate and improve processes.
  • Demonstrate experience in working with internal clients to define and deliver to required service levels.
