Description

Responsibilities:


  • Implement therapeutic play sessions and activities tailored to the needs of children.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess and plan interventions for children with emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and observations to inform treatment plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to families and caregivers, including psychoeducation and parenting strategies.
  • Develop projects/programs with specialized intervention strategies in Play.

Requirements:


  • Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • Certified Therapeutic Play Practitioner preferred.
  • Minimum 23 years of experience working with children and young people in a therapeutic setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and mental health issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in engaging with children and families.
  • Empathetic, patient, and compassionate approach to working with vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
