Job Summary

Responsibilities

Write training content, 1pagers, infographics and posts for various media channels
Write internal and external facing blog that is readable by nontechnical people, globally
Write security alerts, threats and related best practices
Write social media posts with a focus on educating as well as entertainment
Create content for videos, infographics, and other visual aids to support creating a culture of security
Task management of various ongoing and backlog of projects, so that all stakeholders have visibility on timelines.
Collaborate on translating content for multiple languages to support Equinix's global employees
Manage the documentation review process and incorporate feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
Review, take ownership, clean up and enhance existing technical documentation

Qualifications:

35 years of experience working as a technical writer in a technical environment
Strong understanding of technical concepts and terminology, proven record of publicfacing technical documentation
Excellent writing and editing skills
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of tools for content editing, versioning, web content publishing, and offline (such as PDF) publishing
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field
English is the preferred language
Ability to work effectively with partners in different cultures and geographies
