    Roles & Responsibilities

    Are you a talented chef with a passion for Asian cuisine? We're seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team and help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. If you have a creative flair, a commitment to quality, and a desire to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we want to hear from you

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring food quality and consistency
    • Prepare and cook a variety of Asian-inspired dishes according to standardized recipes
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and kitchen assistants, to maintain high standards of food production and hygiene
    • Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering and receiving supplies to minimize waste and maintain freshness
    • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items, seasonal specials, and tasting menus
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures at all times
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including equipment maintenance and proper storage of ingredients

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or similar role in an Asian cuisine restaurant or hotel
    • Strong culinary skills with a focus on Asian cooking techniques and flavor profiles
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff
    • Creative flair and a passion for experimenting with new ingredients and flavors
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
