Business Function

Operations COO - Operations Risk Management - Reconciliation Service Unit (RSU) provides the full support to DBS group in the management of Nostro & Intermediary accounts reconciliation.

The unit has two main functions:

Global Nostro reconciliation across 15 DBS entities & the Business Management Support (BMS) that manages reconciliation system's static data, feeds processes, production of daily escalation reports and MIS aging reports for stakeholders

The role is to drive the review and requirement gathering in new business initiatives and projects, ensure end to end delivery of the project, including but not limited to ratification of the project scope, documentation of the business requirements, the architectural solution design, reconciliation data impact analysis and ensure testing, both system integration and user acceptance testing

Responsibilities

Project manage nostro & billing reconciliation automation projects
Oversight on SWIFT ISO20022 migration project
Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
Work closely with reconciliation SME for user requirement gatherings
Developing functional requirements for technical teams to implement, including userstories, usecases, and process flows.
Ensure proper documentations of operation manual and UAT test results
Work with users on operationalization of initiatives
Coordinate with users and Technology team on delivery and business verification.
Plan team's work schedule and test cycle with Technology partners
Have endtoend accountability for project delivery within the agreed time, quality, and scope within accepted risk parameters.
Identify risk and issues impacting the project, prepare mitigation tactics, and escalate as appropriate

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Business/ Finance or equivalent
Understanding of technology and operational processes across functions / departments in the bank.
Proven experience in delivery transformation, process improvement, or project management roles
MAS Nostro reconciliation and cash operation experience will be an added advantage
Ability to collect and analyse data and draw insight and make recommendation
Must be of sufficient maturity and experience to be able to independently engage Tech Support & stakeholders on project related matters as well as to escalate and articulate issues and proposed resolutions.
Ability to articulate and link Operations and Technology language
