    The role is central to steering project planning and execution in South Asia. This leader collaborates with Headquarter, internal stakeholders, external consultants, and architects to ensure specifications and work plans meet business objectives. The position demands strong partnership capabilities, strategic alignment, and meticulous project management to uphold corporate standards while adapting to zone needs.

    JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reporting directly to the Zone President of South Asia, the individual is pivotal for the strategic development and operational execution of store projects across South Asia. This leadership role requires close collaboration with Country General Managers to establish project timelines and negotiate schedules, ensuring each phase of development aligns with the Louis Vuitton's reputation for high-quality and consistent store experiences.
  • Lead negotiation with external parties such as consultants and contractors on fees while maintaining control over budgeting. The scope extends to negotiating contracts covering various aspects of construction and facilities management, from building works to security services.
  • Maintain a network of reliable suppliers, contractors, and consultants throughout the region. This network aims at streamlining production processes, controlling costs, and optimizing shipping logistics.
  • Collaborate and liaise with internal departments to ensure that all in-store needs—from visual merchandising to inventory management—are adequately met.
  • Regular visits to understand regional shopping mall developments and help inform strategic decisions about new projects. Provide ideas to alleviate program pressures.
  • Conduct feasibility studies in conjunction with architectural departments for each project to meet its intended quality benchmarks while adhering to cost and time constraints.
  • Build relationships with property owners and landlords ensures that Louis Vuitton secures premier locations that meet stringent building standards appropriate for housing luxury retail spaces. Assist Country Managers in establishing lease requirements to ensure interface work with brand contractor and building owner agree and to establish an "even" scale of requirements throughout the zone.

    KEY REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES

  • Degree holder in Architecture, with a minimum of 20 years' experience including high quality facades and interiors
  • Experience of luxury retail design is highly desirable but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Meticulous with effective planning and coordination skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Financial and numerical acumen
  • Willing to travel
