Senior/Executive, Training


Job Purpose

  • The Training delivery team is responsible for the onboarding of new hires as well as designing and developing relevant professional programmes aligned to our Core Values in support of the organisation's strategic goals.

The Senior Executive, Training will be responsible for delivering key onboarding programmes for new hires and appointment-based training for incumbent staff.

This position will work closely with Subject Matter Experts, Learning Solutionists and Learning Technology Designers in the course of work.


Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of a Senior Executive, Training are listed below.

  • Conduct training and assessment for assigned training programmes and courses and maintain records of training activities.
  • Coordinate training programmes and courses.
  • Develop bitesized learning and digital learning resources.
  • Manage courses and elearning packages in the Learning Management System.
  • Function as a role model for training delivery and workplace learning and able to provide support and guidance to workplace trainers.
  • Validate curriculum and courseware, including selecting and designing appropriate training aids.
  • Ensure timely updates of the latest SOPs and essential work information into the relevant courseware.
  • Evaluate course feedback to identify areas of improvement and enhance training effectiveness.
  • Support training administration.
  • Take on adhoc projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Degree in any discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in training and development roles.
  • ACTA/ACLPcertified with good knowledge of Skills Framework.
  • DACE/DDDLPcertified or a Learning Science qualification will be an advantage.
  • Experience in instructional design process with working knowledge of adult learning concepts and techniques.
  • Good understanding of traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, onthejob or inclassroom training, elearning, workshops, simulations etc.) and workplace learning methodologies.
  • Comfortable interacting with people at all levels with strong interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
